10 Things I Hate About YouOne of Heath Ledger's early movies (1999), this film adaptation of Shakespeare's The Taming of the Shrew is still relevant and still funny. Cameron falls for Bianca. The only problem is that Bianca is forbidden to date until her ill-tempered, completely un-dateable older sister Kat goes out. In an attempt to solve his problem, Cameron singles out the only guy who could possibly be a match for Kat: a mysterious bad-boy with a nasty reputation of his own. Starring Julia Stiles and Heath Ledger, this is a highly-recommnended movie that has stood the test of time. Suggested for anyone studying Shakespeare, as well as viewers who like strong female characters, romantic comedies, or high-school movies.4 out of 5 stars. All Movie Reviews » |
